Maybe I'm jaded. Sure, I don't buy into the typical "holiday" bullshit the rest of our society thrives on, I'm also about as patriotic as a tick, but let's face it, unless you're the one setting them off, what's the point, really? Some sparks and a small explosion do very little for me. Unless the inherent danger of blowing off a few fingers becomes part of the equation, I just assume spend my night indoors watching the Scobby Doo movie, again. With the current state of America, I don't think there's really anything worth celebrating, anyway. I previously joked about making a section like this last year during Harumichi and Paula's visit. I figured if it's good enough for Hiroshi, why not us? A few days ago Harumichi sent me a piece he wrote concerning two very special Flashback Generation figures, so I figured what better way to kick it off.

I'm fairly confident that we're over this virus crap. My sincerest apologies for all the recent down time, I was being overly cautious. In both the case of the forum and the website itself, I had a fairly good idea of how to go about remedying the situation, but wanted to get confirmation from those on the support end to be doubly sure. Again, I hope no one was affected by any of this.

In spite of hackers and hosts, you may have noticed a steady decline in recent news updates. I'll make no more excuses about being short on time to dedicate to the site. It's the truth, I don't, but rather than constantly apologize about it, I've decided to restructure the format a bit. Instead of attempting to come off as an up-to-the-minute "news" site, we've decided to take a more relaxed approach.

"But you only update once a month now, how much more "relaxed" can you be?!"

Well, what I mean is that rather than try to keep you all informed about every little thing as it happens (and failing), we thought it would be better to just do a weekly round-up of all the important stuff. I think you'll find this place to be a lot more fun when we're contributing content we don't feel pressured to deliver as quickly as possible. If nothing new goes down during that particular week, perhaps we'll throw in a toy review or an editorial of some kind. At the very least, we'll let you know we're still alive.
